If you haven’t played Make Believe since you were a child, you are missing out on one of the most powerful manifesting tools available to you.
Remember playing pretend as a kid? You were an astronaut one day, then a doctor, teacher or mermaid the next. Everything, everywhere, everyone was a possibility and no one could tell you any different when you were in that magical place of believing your own reality.
Now as adults, we have sadly had reason take over far too much of our minds and it has impacted our reality to the point we don’t always see the limitless possibilities still surrounding us.
Reason #1: Playing Make Believe creates a break from our “reality”.
This is a good thing! Imagination, pretend, “make believe” are all forms of play for our minds. And our minds could use a good fun break every so often.
Reason #2: Playing Make Believe ignites new ideas and possibilities.
When we allow ourselves to be free of absolutes logic, we open ourselves up to creative flow. So often new ideas and possibilities are not found in our reasoning minds. They can come to us in a place of rest, joy and wonder.
Reason #3: Playing Make Believe reminds you of what your childhood dreams were.
What we played at as a child can give us very good clues of what our passions and desires are. Returning to childlike wonder within our minds, can reunite us with dreams lost in our life of obligations and responsibilities and give us a new, dearly needed, fresh direction in life.
Reason #4: (which is tied to #3) Playing Make Believe will give you very strong hints to what your true passions are.
I think I said it all in #3, but don’t underestimate the power and insight playing make believe can have on your path today.
Reason #5: Playing Make Believe will help you see the world and those around you with more childlike wonder, love and acceptance.
And who doesn’t need more love, joy wonder and acceptance in their life. When we give it to ourselves, we will automatically be sharing this all with others….and….it will also inspire and give freedom to others to do and experience the same.
Just like we can go through difficult conversation in our heads, thinking on things that cause stress, anxiety, sadness or regret. We can use the same power for good in our lives, but engaging in a little ( or a lot) of Make Believe.
The Future you always dreamed of is dependent on it.
